Went fishing at Wharf Alpha near the NPTU. Got there at around 1000 and fished until 1pm. The bait store didn’t have any mud minnows so I just got some frozen finger mullet instead. Caught a 2ft shark then a stingray and then this guy. This pictures doesn’t do this red justice. I didn’t actually land it because it was to far down, no way to land it, and only had 15lb mono on my reel. My biggest red to this point was 38" that I caught in Florida about 4 years ago. My best guess for this one is close to 4ft. This picture is about 15 to 20ft away. I eventually pulled the hook of it’s mouth and it swam away.
That’s a 3oz egg weight by the way.
