The dog survived with out a scratch but the gator trout didn’t make it past the grill. I had 20 minutes to fish a road side honey hole before work and ended up with a 25 inch 6 pound trout [the dog weighs 7 pounds] and an 18 inch red. Not a bad way to start off a monday.
Well…if that’s a Monday.

The beer was after work I swear. The crazy part about it was that I some how made it to work on time. It was painful walking away from there but I somehow pulled myself away from the water.

I live on ladys island and my house is for sale if anybody is interested?. I work at paris Island. I work on the ranges and know some spots that are gold mines. Most Marines don’t even know you can access certain areas.

Mike-I’m an OLD “Hollywood Marine”…spent over 3 years trying to stay away from PI! How ironic that I now love to come back down every year on vacation and play 
I think some of the first trout we caught were on an inshore charter right along the PI docks probably 1 years ago…and still have never been on PI base!
