Finally got a shark this weekend. Happy Father’s Day to me 
Not very big but its a good start. 3’ Atlantic Sharpnose. Caught him on the incoming Saturday night. I was pretty stoked. Only thing that killed my stoke is that I must have screwed up the release cause he washed up onshore down the beach about 30 yards. The tide was all the way up and the waves were crashing on the shore. I should have walked him out and revived him. I tried to revive him, but a wave hammered me and I let him go. He swam and hit my leg so I thought all was good. Bummed to kill a beautiful fish for no reason 
Won’t make the same mistake twice! (However the next one is getting fried)
