Not sure where to post this, so please move, if needed.
My friend and his son caught these in Maryland this weekend. Assateague.
His son’s was 49" and estimated 75#'s.
My friend’s was 52" long, 38" girth, and estimated at 90+#'s. They didn’t have a scale and wanted to get the fish back in the water asap.
For reference, my friend is 6’-1" and 180#'s.
His fish may have been a new record.

Hope all is well my friend! You are missed out here man! Double E is barely coping well enough
Take care bud, hope to catch up with ya sooner than later
While I’m not sure it would have broken the record, that is a STUD fish and probably won’t be duplicated in his lifetime. I hope I’m wrong!

Thanks buddy! Really miss y’all, too. Kinda hard after 34 years…
I’m staying busy and hope to start building on the land next year. That, and playing with the new pontoon. Gonna get y’all out there as soon as we can all get together!
I know! Right?
This is the All-Tackle World record.
An impressive collection of massive bull redfish, one of the world's most popular inshore game fishes, that hold top honors in several IGFA line classes and tippet (fly-rod) classes.
