Finally signed the papers on my new ride! Blackjack 224…my dream boat of 3 or more years, but knew I could never afford. Finally a reality, courtesy of a gent that said she was too small for him! My gain! 65+ mph in 2 foot chop without a stutter, plus a staggering 4.73 mpg @ 3500 rpm and 35 mph. That from a Yamaha 250 SHO!
Big front flare bow and tumblehome aft with spray bar like the big Carolina boats…she’s my new baby. Came with 10’ Blade PP, plus Lowrance HDS Gen 2 w/HD Structure Scan. I’m adding my Garmin 70dv touch also. Can’t wait to get a trolling motor on her plus a whole lotta fish slime and even a little blood!
(Lord help me to stay off the throttle so it’s not my blood on her deck!)
Even if they did take my logo I’m defaulting to the side of grace though and calling that a coincidence. From what I’ve seen of them they build a dang fine boat. That thing is beautiful! I’d like to see it in person if I could?

Yep, the sort of ride that fish and half naked women just jump into as it passes by. Don’t even have to bait a hook. Wont ever have to buy beer or bait again
Congrats again Jim and I’d really like to see it.

I read that series Larry…looks like y’all could have had the same graphics dept. They say they had the design in 2004. I remember an article on them in Fla Sportsmen around 2005. You’re welcome to see/ride anytime. They have the hull design down…very dry and very comfortable in 2’ chop…plus seems to squat and hold the water at speed. I don’t need to run fast…unless that lightning starts to pop!
Awesome boat. I can’t keep up with all ya’ll with these fancy rigs. My old tub is paid for and takes me where I need to go. I don’t have to worry about getting a(nother) scratch on it. Congrats. Hope she catches fish like your old rig!

Right now it’s staying in the family, Bill. My son Ryan is a firefighter here with the city of Beaufort. I’m going to see if he wants to take it over…he has an older 17’ Carolina Skiff w/85 Yamaha I am going to sell for him. I also have a 2000 16’ J16 CS with a 40 Merc I am selling soon…just need pics.
