Nature Boy in hospital

not sure what’s wrong with Ric, doesn’t sound too good, apparently a heart surgery related issue, and medically induced coma.

Sad to hear about Flair. Hope he recovers. All the years of partying will take a toll on the body, especially later in life.

I do know the man, and like he said “to be the MAN you gotta beat the MAN and I am the MAN” He was a regular at Golds Gym in Charlotte and never smoked or drank excessively . He was blessed with a great body and didn’t need steroids. His daughter & my niece were best childhood friends and were cheerleaders together. Ric would bring each girl a red rose and a small box of chocolates at each game. What he liked to hear most was that the fans were entertained ! A few things I really enjoyed about watching him- He could fall straight forward and hit the mat perfectly flat and never break his fall with his arms. And at some time during or after the match he would stand and look out into the cheering crowd and nod his head in thanks. A true showman whether he was a baby face or a heel. I hope the best for him and Gods mercy .

He landed at #1

Took my boys down to county hall on king st many times to see him.He was my favorite.

It was the 80’s, and early 90’s. If you don’t think the top celebrities in their craft didn’t dive head first into the nose candy, you are blind. Hugh Hefner, Rick Flair, LT, Steven Tyler, etc.

Hope he gets well. Man is an icon. Hard to imagine all those years of working out, drinking, and drugs and what that has to do to your heart.

He was a ladys man! Attracted them whereever he went. Use to be his fish supplier in the 80’s

Ric Flair still in critical condition following colon surgery.

Wishing him a speedy recovery.

You obviously really don’t know Flair… His hard partying ways are common knowledge…

Thanks for the update… What I am hearing is the CFC “natureboy” bragged about spending time and knowing the real Nature Boy and then stated he didn’t drink and party… Just another lie by the CFC “natureboy” wannabe… Geez.

Greatest wrassler ever… Woooo…

I met Flair, and Andre the Giant, years ago as a teenager, at a convenience store on Haywood rd. here in Greenville, at 2:00 a.m. Had a Limo full of booze and whores. Nice guys!

If Andre got excited from them wimminz while in the limo, I hope it had a sunroof, or they’d never pry him outta there…

Believe it or not, Andre was still in his wrestling tights and a robe. Flair, he was stylin’ in a tuxedo. One thing that sticks out in the memory, was the way the Miller High Life bottles looked so small in Andre’s hand. Like Pony bottles in most of our hands.

Yeah, Flair is a trip… Met him at Marlin Quay marina back in the 80’s… Met him again in a hotel lounge outside Atlanta back in the early 90’s… I was there for a business training event and come to find out that was where a whole bunch of wrasslers stayed/lived… Man we had a great week hanging out with them in the lounge every night… Harley Race, Greg the Hammer, Flair, El Gigante, Paul Heyman, Van Vader, and some others… Vader was huge, and I have a great story about me and a co-worker in the Waffle House at 2:00AM when he walked in…

Oh yeah, saw FLair at Brio in South Park a few years ago… He remembered me from the hotel lounge week… Cool dude fo sho…

Teenager and come upon a limo full of whores and you’re looking at Andre’s hands…

After introductions we talked and joked around for a short while. You couldn’t help but notice Andre’s hands on the roof of the Limo. A Miller High Life in each hand. Rick and Andre stood around outside, with the doors open, the, ahem, “Ladies” never came out of the vehicle.
