Anyone done any surf fishing up in NC for bull reds?
I’ve always heard the fishing is better up there and might make a trip to find out.
If anyone has some insight or experience it would be much appreciated
fishing up around Cape fear gets good in a couple weeks when the water cools a bit and a N/NE wind blows the S facing beaches flat. Big drum right off the beach. sometimes its hot sometimes not but if you put in a few days you will likely catch a few. OBX gets good for trout and puppy drum soon as well, when the surf is manageable.
