Looking for other interested in spearfishing on some nearshore reefs freediving.

Pornography is when you use a whole chicken.

I would definately like to hit the near shore reefs. I don’t know about free diving. Don’t think I am in as good of shape as I used to be. I’ll give it a shot, but will have air in the boat in case it doesn’t work out!! I usetacould!! I am a hunter/gatherer by nature. Interested in putting fish in the boat and giving my kids a good time. They love the water and nature in general. I have a Pioneer 197 sportfish that works very well for the occasion.

Give me a call when you want to go. I work a weird schedule; but, I’m off a good bit during the week too.

This is a really old thread, but if you are still in the area, I’d like to go anytime. I just moved into town from the Great Lakes. I’m a freediver, new to spearfishing.

Chris,

I am also looking for partners to hit anything 40-120’ deep reefs for spearing. Can freedive, scuba or hybrid (pony). Run GW232 with a large cockpit area. Give me a call or text eightsevennine.8777

It’s been almost a decade since I tried “free diving” if you want to call it that (really only got down to about 30 feet on the Great Barrier Reef some years ago). But I’d be down to go out with some freedivers to see how it’s done around here and get some tips on getting into freediving shape.
