Not sure about the kings but Spanish can be found along the bars past the green can off south end of the beach. Also across the sound along the channel ledge edges of Egg Bank. I have got into them schooling arounf the Edisto 40 and the 60 in May-June. Also off the channel edge up by Deveraux Bank where N Edisto comes out. We troll grass edges on way between.

The spanish should be showing up at any time and where there are lots of spanish, you will find kings. The best shallow king fishing around here usually takes place from July-October.

Thanks guys for the info; I do make and keep notes so as not to forget
the help I get:: still got Raddaddys info on the Edisto rocks!!!:smiley::smiley:

Saw my first Spanish of the year on Thursday on the way offshore. Just outside the channel, beyond where the last buoy used to be.

Actually glad. One less thing to worry about running into in the dark.
