Looking to go out and do some shark fishing and some fishing on the artificial reefs. Not really picky about what to catch but my wife really enjoys fishing when we go
To the keys and hoping to get her hooked on something more local. Would love to catch some mahi but my saltwater knowledge is very limited outside of the Florida keys. Any information would be helpful!
Not going to catch many Mahi, unless it is dumb luck this time of year unless you run to the stream or a little shallower. They move in when the water gets really hot, but dolphin run is late April - mid June when you can really get after them. Bellow is the link to the artifical reefs. Bring a reef anchor. Betsy Ross and Eagle’s Nest are the best bets. Good luck and tight lines.
