Need advice from King of the Pier,

I am trying to be one of the best fishermen around the area so I am only seeking advice from the best fishermen. I am trying to get good advice from pier guys because I want to fish the area around the pier with my boat as I figure the positioning would be better for various species. What is a section of the pier that I could fish from the water without bothering the other guys? I hear the trolly rigging section is done so could I fish that area reasonably from a boat? I appreciate the advice in advance!

Set up within 300 yds of pier and you’ll probably become the target:smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley:, also some piers have a minimum distance to stay back, another thing it’s not a good place to be , kinda like being in the impact area of a rifle range , only difference is 180g bullet verses 2-5 oz lead bank or pyramid sinker…[:0][:0][:0][:0] BUT IT’S YOUR HEAD:sunglasses:

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

There are signs at Folly pier warning boaters to stay back a certain distance, I think it’s either 100 yards or 300 yards. You can see the signs for the water.

The trolley rigging section is still there. The pier just did away with the ropes for that area.

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.

Well you would definitely be in strike position if you setup nice and close to the pier
