Unfortunately, my time in this amazing place that is Charleston is running short. In three weeks I will be leaving to go back to Pittsburgh in time for football camp and school, and I have yet to find a redfish. Plenty of trout still, along with my first Stingray (very fun, but I can see how they can be annoying). I haven’t really left Daniel Island to fish much, but I want to go out and try some new spots. Ive heard good things about Pitt St. Bridge, but where should I go to specifically target reds? Don’t need anyone’s secret spot, just a general area. Also, I wouldn’t mind getting into some flounder as well.

lol I have always asked myself what I would do in a situation where a trophy fish broke off right at the dock, and many times I have contemplated whether or not I would jump in
Trophy fish hell, I would jump in for any fish.

That’s a real nice bass. I woulda jumped in for that as well. Haha.
Edit: Pitt Street Bridge is a good place to fish for Reds. Fish in the incoming tide with either carolina rig to bottom fish with shrimp or I personally like the DOA popping cork with either an artificial one that can easily be seen in dirty water or live shrimp.
