just broke ground on this $55M addition. Check out the renditions.
Amazing
I didn’t see any livestock pens or chicken coops… Are you sure that’s Clemson?
Yep- no livestock. Just a world class facility that will keep attracting top prospects to continue the in-state domination for many years to come.

You can really tell who the tater haters are and who are completely ignorant of both schools’ history.
South Carolina College was reopened in 1878 by the legislature as the Columbia campus for whites and the Claflin campus for blacks. The school had an agricultural department, and to boot, in 1880, the school’s name was actually changed to the SC College of Agricultural and Mechanical Arts.
What’s more, all you ignorant coots, is that in an effort to STOP ANOTHER MAJOR COLLEGE FROM EVER COMING INTO BEING, your supporters in the SC Legislature voted to expand your SC College farm by 100 acres, which was done for Ben Tillman and others who had been arguing that a true A & M College in South Carolina needed to be opened instead of just an elitist shape-shifter like they had in Columbia up until that time.
With Clemson’s land given to the state just after this, Tillman showed back up and pointed out how the SC College Ag department was basically a bunch of posers and he also famously said how The Citadel was just a “dude factory.” Clemson was fought by all the SC College elitists in the legislature, and they proudly pointed at their own Ag department and farm to try and circumvent the chief argument for Clemson A & M being allowed (not even talking about funding here, but being ALLOWED) by the State of South Carolina.
So get it right when you talk about farming and what and who your people are. We’re not the ones named for a barnyard animal. You are.
We’re not the ones who tried to pretend to be an Ag school. You are.

I knew a guy who went to USC and took a husbandry class at Clemson… Do you know where you have to stick your hand in the cow? Only at Clemson can they pull something like that off!!!
