Quick rundown of the features - blue mirror UV400 polarized poly-carbonate lenses, 720p video capture, 2.5 hours of battery life while recording, 10 days at stand-by, Bluetooth functionality for audio streaming or phone use with a whopping 33’ range, 8gb micro SD card included, 10 hr battery life at 50% volume for phone or music playback, hard case with microfiber cloth, charging cable, ear buds and quick-start guide included.
We’ve played with these quite a bit, and plan to show some test footage in the next few days. The Bluetooth range is awesome! They’re perfect if you want to leave your audio source in the console or salon and listen to your own jams in the cockpit. Sound and video quality are great. Plus, they’re not bulky and you’re not strapping a camera (with only 30 minutes of battery life) to yourself. The lenses are very clear and to our knowledge, the only blue mirror polarized lens available in a pair of camera glasses. The glasses are water resistant, but not submersible.
Our first shipment of these is very limited, so pre-orders are encouraged for 5/12/15 arrival. Price is $139.99 which is pretty tough to beat considering all of the features.
2.5 hours of 720 video plus an 8gb SD card is almost worth the $139 by itself…throw in the ability to wear it and also protect your eyes…hmmm, Bonzo is very interested…are they Cablz ready? Or have enough earpiece for me to drill small holes without messing anything up?
Hey guys, sorry but I never received the usual email that there were replies on this. Regarding Cablz, I’m not sure about fit. However, there’s plenty of room to drill and put some mono through the ear pieces without issue.
