My apologies for no recent updates. We’ve been held up for the last 3 weeks, by everything that could possibly hold us up. Engineer, Inspectors, supplier issues, weather, etc.
My builder and I got some things sorted out over the past 2-3 days. We’re back on track. I’ll get pictures next week.
when you pick out your interior door handles they will likely all match.
10 years later when one goes bad it’s hard or impossible to match.

Take the wife to floor and decor in North Charleston and let her wander around. Its tough to pick out all the pretty design stuff on the fly at lowes. Floor and Decor has a ton of options for flooring, tile, backsplash, vanities, fixtures, all that stuff. And much of it is set up so that you can see it all together how it looks. For someone like me with no design sense, it makes it easier to not do anything really stupid (we renovate rental houses on the regular and I’m always having to do the design stuff). It makes life easier for sure.
Have your measurements before you go. A lot of times they will have clearance tile that you can get at 30-50% off.
Another thing we do now it install the electronic pushbutton locks with the physical key backups. You’d be surprised how much headache this has saved. It stops the losing a key scenario and they are always programmable to whatever code you want.
Have you sourced your kitchen cabinets yet? Flooring options?
And if you’re going to use that attic space up there for storage, save yourself a giant headache and go buy a couple of the LED garage style shop lights and install them up there. My attic has two tiny light bulbs up there and I hate it everytime I go up there looking for something. No one ever complained about having too much light!
Haven’t been there, yet, but planning to go next week. We got our exterior doors at Stroud Supply, across the street from F&D, next to Northern Tool.

Natural, of course. 
Mahogany, naturally stained and treated.
Just making sure, I’ve seen some crazy stuff. I’m in about my 15th full remodel and it’s fascinatingand terrifying what people will do.
Make sure to use a wood conditioner prior to staining.
It will prevent blotching when the stain is applied, and give a much better result.
