New to Edisto

I’m coming to Edisto over July 4th week and bringing my 14 ft Jon boat with a little 1986 8hp Evinrude. I’m staying back in the Wyndham resort and not looking to take it in and out everyday. Is there a reasonably priced marina or dock I can keep it there? What about boat ramp too?

Also, where are some good places to go fishing in Edisto with a little creek boat?

I’m used to fishing around Pawley’s and Litchfield but unfamiliar to Edisto’s waters.

Thanks for the info and help in advance.

You will be pretty much right beside the marina. It’s 10$ to launch there. I don’t know about storage there. I live 1 mile from the landing at the state park off palmetto rd. If you wanted, I have plenty of driveway that you could park your little boat in for a week or so. It’s very safe here, no worry about theft. Shoot me a PM if you want to talk about it.

I stayed at Wyndham my fist time at Edisto and brought my 15’cc assuming there would be room at the condo which of course there wasn’t and they let me leave it in the parking lot adjacent to the office. BTW you’re going to love Edisto! the fishing was excellent and the golf course at wyndham is great and Edisto has an Island vibe that’s all its own.
