This color closely matches both a trout and redfish eye.
As you know, speckled trout are cannibalistic and will eat their young. Many lures including the skitter walk come in a trout color for this reason.
When you pair our Gold eye jig with a Z-Man 3.75" StreakZ in Ralph Shad color you get a great imitation of a tiny trout!
