new VHF radio sys for Sea Tow Chas

We have put a new VHF radio system in and it is up and running…this is a unique system in that it gives us a lot of flexibility and range…the antenna height is 218’ and makes the charleston tower the highest commercial assit towing tower in the state…we can also link up radio towers from Moorehead to Florida and completes the Sea Tow network in the Southeast…the system runs off the internet (T1) and we will also be able to stream VHF and let your “sig other” log on and listen to us talk to you (if you want her/him/them) to know where you are, or listen to VHF at work should your boss allow you to do so…i’ll put up a post when we are ready to let you listen to the radio via the internet…just another value added service for our members in addition to the new boat…

as always if you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call 843-881-8949 or shoot me an email captmpcrouch@yahoo.com

Had to call Sea Tow for the first time today, and I can not express how courteous and professional they were. I finally got the engine working myself (water in the gas).
Great service for what we pay!

Mike,
Sorry you had a false alarm. It was water in the gas. I bought gas at Edisto couple of weeks ago. After dumping the filter and finally getting the gasket back on - engine ran fine. I had probably run 20 gallons before I had the problem.
Thanks again to Sea Tow and staying in touch until I got it running.
I hope to meet you one day, but under better circumstances.
