New Xcelerator 36' CC Project!!!

Xcelerator Boatworks is pleased to announce our newest project and even more excited to announce who its for. XBWH03 will be a 36 center console for Nascar Sprint Cup series star Greg Biffle. While away from the track, one of Gregs biggest hobbies is boating and fishing. While in the market for a new versatile fishing vessel he wanted something custom, reliable, fast, and fun and dry to ride on. After just a few weeks of talk and shop visits, Greg has chosen Xcelerator to construct his newest fishing boat and we couldnt be more excited. We are currently working with Greg on the design process and should start construction the first week of January. The boat will have twin Yamaha 350 outboards and a walk in console with galley, head, and forward cabin/seating. The boat will have an engine bracket set-up resulting in an LOA of 396. We will also be displaying the boat at a few major boat shows next fall and winter. Please stay tuned for further information on the specs and renderings along with the start of construction.

Congrats on the new commission. Couldn’t happen to nicer guys (and great boat builders)

Thanks ifly! We are very excited. Moving into a bigger shop January 1st and then will start setting up the jig.

Congratulations, I’m so glad your success is continuing. This is a huge project and the CF community looks forward to seeing your progress week to week. Give me a shout if you need any of my services, I’d be glad to help out.

Sounds like a great project! Keep us in the loop! Love your work in the past!

Thanks everyone! Here are a few early stage drawing of the boat. Just a few more minor tweaks and we should be close to cutting a jig. We used some features from both the Carolina style and Florida style boats when designing. We tamed down the tumbolholm and midship flare and also flattened out the shear rise a litttle. It will also have a slight rounded transom.

Looks a lot like to a 31 Bertram! wonderful lines!

Here is a comparison of the 36’ to the 21’ we are currently working on. Really puts the size into perspective.

Wow!! I’ll be following this too.

You guys do fantastic work!

Umm, you gonna eat that?

Thousands have died to save my freedom. Only one has died to save my soul!

Spent most of the day moving to the new shop and also got boat on trailer and moved! Will post some pics of the shop when all set up and organized. Here are a few pics of the paint department. There are two 25’ x 15’ down draft paint booths and two exterior booths which you can see in front of them that can handle a 45’ boat.

Awsom shop!I know yall are exceted! Good luck! Would like to see it some time, Hope to be in C-town in feb to go to sea school, will pm yall then!

Got the shop pretty much set up tonight. Here are some more pictures.

Tonight we built the level base for the 36’ jig. Also working on the final design work of the structural systems of the boat. Should be cutting a jig soon!

Jig is being cut! We will start setting it up Friday!!!

We received the jig and some supplies Friday. Been pretty busy since! Got the jig set up and the first two layers of the keel and stringers laminated.

That is quite impressive guys

Never been a huge baffle fan but that is truly an awesome thing you are doing. I remember when my dad built his boat and it was unbelievable

Keep it up. Impressive stuff

I truly love my ride but,I believe I have found the replacement if it ever needs it. Beautiful lines!

Thanks a lot guys, we love the ■■■■■■■■!

The layers are starting to add up on the keel and stringers. They are going to me massive! Should be ready to shape Friday and then its onto the sheer band and rib bands.

awesome per usual
