finally caught a nice blacktip at edisto this evening. fishing was pretty slow, me and a friend started fishing around 6pm. we caught a couple bluefish, baby sharks and one whiting. nothing big touched the cut bait til about 9pm when my rod bent over. could tell it was something bigger than a sharpnose(which seemed to have disappeared). actually, i thought a couple times that it may have been a big stingray on because it didn’t pull much drag, just felt pretty heavy. nice fish made the trip worth it:smiley:
