I have been itching to make a trip to the coast but the lack of reports is a little discouraging. I know there has to be people fishing. No one catching or no one reporting?
This used to be a great fishing site.
Nowadays most of the posting is done to the “Politics” board,
which is not worth reading unless you are fond of nasty posts.
Fished Sunday 5/8 7:00-12:00. Small Whiting, 1 Weakfish and four Bonnets, three were decent. Beautiful weather. All caught on fresh dead shrimp.

fished may 2 on the clear side of a nice surf rip, plenty of big whiting. i could feel the presence of pompano, but no confirmation.
heard it was pretty dead last weekend in terms of bass and drum.
still cool for this time of year, but it’s coming fast now. tides have been small, so water is clear in many places… but that’s all about to end too.
saturday looks nice.
