We are coming down to Savannah /Tybee Island for a few days. Looking for a CLEAN place to stay that is nice and not too high end. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well if you want to stay in Savannah, a place in mid-town or close to it, Extended Stay is on Abercorn and clean.
On Tybee I would opt for a B and B, most of the hotels on the Island are older, but b and bs are hands on and clean, but cost more.
There are several clean hotels along Bay street right next to River street.
At I 95 and 204 intersection, south of Savannah there are several new hotels.
At the Sav/HH airport exit at I 95 (Pooler), there are several new Hotels.
Under the assumption a new hotel may be clean…But to each his own for the definition of clean.
Fishin Savannah…
Not sure, meeting family who are flying in. Will spend a day downtown and a day on the island maybe kayaking or something.
