Not very productive, but a fun day

The alarms didn’t wake me up so I headed out at 3pm for that low tide instead. Went down to the folly light house and on the first blind cast got a school full of perfect size finger mullet. Threw some carolina rigs out and about 10 minutes later one rod started a slow run. Then a few minutes later I got a nice 10-12lb. ray.

Cast netted a few little needle fish

Like I said not very productive but it was nice to get my lines wet. Everybody needs to get out there though, tons of mullet in the surf right now!

I’m so salt life I sued google earth for giving away all of my fishing spot’s.

At least it was fun, beats being stuck at house. Nice pics and update, hope to get out there soon

i tried station 16 about the same time you were out and both me and another CF poster caught the skunk. between finger mullet, stingray, and blue crab nothing was landed but yes TONS of finger mullet in the surf!
