Solid day near the beach. Found the Bulls in 18 feet of water. Had three in the boat for pictures and measurement within the first hour, with several breakoffs. Moved around a bit, all the way to the 40, but the action seemed to be mid-morning on a rising tide. Squid was most definitely their favorite, as cut bait only attracted sharks, who came in and ruined the party. Water was 71 degrees from the beach to the 40.
The tally this fine November morning:
3 Bull Redfish (38, 38, 33)
5 Sharpnose (full size and feisty)
1 Bonnethead
6 Weakfish
25 BSB
2 Croaker
1 Grunt
1 Eel
1 Oyster Toad
Back at it next week.
