WHY WHY WHY pass on that last Seahawks play? They burned 2 timeouts on that series and had they not, it makes you wonder if they would not have tried to pound it in from the 1? I don’t think you would have stopped Lynch 3 times from the 1. Oh well, I guess we’ll never know.
I hate the pats.

I don’t have a issue with that play.
The issue I have is the coaching decision after the crazy catch. OK, you had to take a TO. fine. But there is plenty of time left. Run the ball. don’t waste time, run the ball, don’t waste time.
Instead they slowed down, took to much time. The reason I don’t mind the play call, EVERYONE knew Lynch would get the ball. why not try a quick slant. If he catches it…TD. If he drops it, Clock stops. Then Run Lynch.
At no time does a OC, HC or QB make a play call with an INT as the outcome.

If that play had worked, Carroll would have been the smartest coach ever! Because it didn’t work, he is now the dumbest! From Hero, to Zero, in the drop of a hat! The Talking Heads, would have been calling the it best play they have ever seen, if it had worked.
Fiat…bigger, more powerful and ready for action!
And yet still a Fiat.
