Tuesday nite - limit of nice shrimp, Wed. a three man limit of bass and twenty released along with 30 or so trout of which 12 were keepers and then Wed. night another limit of shrimp and back at the house by 9 pm.
It don’t get much better than this - but its just starting to.

If we had been playing dollar/dollar/dollar we would have ended up breaking even.

G8r was hot with muddies, then I got hot with artificials. Jig was hot all along…with air…as usual! 
g8 is man of few words…not me. What happened Wednesday was simply amazing. After heading the limit of shrimp we caught Tuesday night, we headed out to the regular drops we have fished for years. Hit drop one and caught a few dink trout and headed to drop two, where we spent the rest of the incoming catching a bunch of nice fish…reds, trout and black drum. Oh and wildlifesc caught several pinfish which is his specialty along with sharks. He is particularly proud that he caught fish on artificials which most of us mastered years ago.
Came off the water and headed to g8’s, made bait and went shrimping again. Ive rarely seen so many shrimp in a net. After 6 poles g8 had to help me pull the net over rail…eight foot net and a gazillion shrimp on every throw wore my old tail out. Spent Thursday recovering. Next year I’m getting a 7’ net. Going home in the AM with two coolers of shrimp and one of fish filets.
The best part is fishing with friends. Ever if wildlifesc is full of it and g8 is crotchety, it was an incredible 48 hours.
Good for you Jig & company. Sounds like quite the couple of days y’all had.
