I know this is off topic, but I’m looking for someone who does good work cleaning auto carpets, preferable hot water/steam. The carpets in my wife’s Ford Escape get wet, and Ford can’t find the leak. In the meantime, they are mildewing.
If you know someone who does good work and extracts the water residue, please post. Thanks!
I did make it out on the St. Helena side Sunday morning before the rain hit. Caught a slam…19 inch flounder, 3 bass, and…lo & behold!..a 20 inch and and 18 inch trout. Bass & flounder on mud minnows, trout on artificial under Cajun cork. Nice to get out…been taking care of wife after surgery and also weathering a kidney stone I haven’t passed.

If you haven’t already done so, there are two places you might want to check for the mystery water leak. The drain holes and tubes that run from the catch basin between the windshield and the engine compartment. Sometimes that gets clogged and the water backs up causing it to get into the vents. Another is the drain for the a/c. If there is no puddle under the car after running the a/c it may be dripping inside the passenger compartment. Years ago I worked at a dealer service department and remember water leaks being tough to find sometimes. Good luck!

Thanks Crabjack. I have verified the AC is not the culprit. I thought it was coming from beneath the car, but will check to see if that catch basin exists on this car and if clogged. I checked the sunroof carefully, and don’t think it has a leak.
Again…thanks!
Is there a sunroof?

Yep. Checked the sunroof and its drain with no luck.

Take an air hose and shoot into sunroof drains it is the source every time our floors get wet. Like every 3 years.

Not sure about professional cleaning but may try placing some “Damp Rid” inside car it should help with moisture/mildew control
Had Ricky Heape detail the car. Man…what a job he does! He rodded out the sunroof drains. Only time will tell if that helps.
Thanks for all the tips. Especially the one about my catheter.
