Not a report…yet. Heading out in the am from the marina offshore as far as the sea state makes it enjoyable…white tidewater with blue bottom. Will be on ch 68/69 give me a shout if you’re out there
Update…ran out to about 90 ft. Seas were really good both heading out and in. Put out the high speed trolling baits and picked up several king macks and false albacore. Did that for awhile then drifted over some reef picking up some AJ’s. Finally anchored up on some live bottom and got in to some triggers, bsb’s, grunts and other assorted bottom critters. Stopped on the way in to watch an acre of dolphin chase around bait. Cool day on the water! Hope weds forecast holds out. Want to hit it again
Did you check for bull reds around the dolphin and bait?
I didn’t… we had been hitting the bull reds hard the last couple weeks near shore so we were just focused in on getting offshore. Didn’t really see any bait busting or even mark any on the depth finder. It must have been there though bc the birds were crashing periodically. We should’ve checked a little harder but we had the dogs at home waiting on us and wanted to get the boat washed and put away b4 dark. If they’re still out there weds I’ll give it a better look
