We tried to catch bait for about 2 hours of HHI with no luck and turned back around and headed home. It was bumpy out there and we didn’t have any live bait so we chose to sit it out and go another time. Any luck out there if you went?

We caught plenty of bait but the forecast was way off. 3-4 foot at a very short interval from the ENE and 15 mph winds from the NE. No fun.

Glad you found some bait. We tried just off the beach with only 4 greenies to show. It was weird, just a week before we caught probably 100 menhaden in 3 casts.
Weather man was definitely off
