Offshore yes, Chas. no.....awsome!!!!

"Did anybody hear or see the 200lb + swordfish that was caught out of the 14’ aluminum skiff with a 25hp early sunday morning out of Haulover?

Fishing offshore all night in a 14’ alum skiff and 25hp tiller motor is crazy. Pretty fish - but crazy.

Does that guy have an HMS permit for that boat?

■■■■, he is either crazy or just plain stupied to fish offshore all night in that skiff.

yes but he caught a really nice fish…i bet he could teach some of the guys with 1 million dollar boats a few things if this is true…

im sure its true, there are a few real die hards out there that just don’t have the financial resources of others. but have the heart of the old man and the sea. living in fla. iv’e been out to the stream in a canoe with a 3 1/2hp 1965 johnson with my dad. when i was younger i would take my 18ft. bass boat fishing out to the ledge, just had to pick your days and you can see the hotels on the beach from the ledge. congrats to the real fisherman who fishes for the sport and not the status like so many others!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Haha nothing wrong with that! Gotta take chances if you want to do something great! nice catch

His Penns are worth more than the boat!

HA whats the weight limit in that boat!?

haha, I’ve riden in a boat like that with four people before and it was riding pretty low, so he probably only had a 1’ to 6" of clearance. I’m sure they were bailing water out on the way to the dock.

Is that a fla or ga tag?

Catfish

Looks like the real deal to me. Must have been caught in fla somewhere. Wonder how far out they were?

Catfish

i read some where it was in fl. and they were 17 miles out…

The dude best carry an EPIRB. hate to be out there and the weather change.

Story was posted in a Fla. newspaper. This guy is a regular at doing things like this. Kinda like the guy that caught the billfish on the jetski. Says he went out right after a big storm. Gotta hand it to him, he’s got balls!!!

i guess no one thought about putting it in there once he got back to the dock? wow
