"ONE" and done

yeah…one :face_with_head_bandage:…Whiting…in two weekends .

Weather has been great, surf has looked great, fishing…not so great. Last weekend was a blank. Today at least I landed 1 nice one. Between the past two weekends I’ve logged about 17 hours and covered probably 15 blocks of beach. Fresh shrimp and finger Mullet. No Stingrays??? Odd…

No offense intended whatsoever, but boy does your signature stand out after a report like that.

I know right :stuck_out_tongue:. But it beats working or sittin’ on the couch watchin’ some silly foolsball game or some other mind numbing inactivity. You also never know what that cold water will give up.

Better day’s to come Mr. Parker. They can hide, but for so long. You are a excellent fisherman and if fishing was slow, it was slow. We have control over allot, but we can’t make them show. Remember my goose egg last March, you were standing right next to me, “catching fish.” Winter fishing:roll_eyes: The tide will turn and we will have our day. Just wish it would hurry up already. Nice to feel the sand between the toes though. Thank you for the report.

ALL DAYS FISHING ARE GOOD, unless somebody gets hurt. Not catching is part of it. Never been one to pack up and go home for not catchin’ any.

I can’t forget this one that came out of 59 degree surf temp. Was the only thing I caught that day as well in 6-7 hours.

Nice whiting D , too bad only one , at least you didn’t skunk out…

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

The stingrays population seems to have fallen off big time. I’m surprised no skates. The best days to fish in winter time is when there’s a strong onshore wind it pushes the bait to shore and fish follow. You also got to find something that will hold bait like rocks. structure.

I’m heading out tomorrow afternoon I think. Probably go to where you were at here and trek a bit south as well. We will see haha

glad yall are getting out. I need to
