One Lemon

I did the surf from just before high to just before low. The water was dirty and the fishing was slow. Just after high I got a nice lemon ( 6’8") on a live whiting. Got a big ray to follow and had a break-off and a knockdown I missed. Mid falling I had a little run on a few sharpnose. Otherwise whiting.

Pics like that you won’t have that beach to yourself for to long lol.

Nice lemon on spinning gear! I can’t wait to see other species than tippers on my 10500 spinfisher, lemons made our 80w’s scream, but after ramping up the drag they weren’t too bad even at almost 9’.

That’s a good shark on spinning gear. A lemon’s first run is usually pretty good so if you can endure that on gear like that the rest is down hill. Caught lots of lemons in the 9-11 ft. range but not on spinning gear… good job there through nice surf.

That’s a great pic

Yeah great catch let us know where this is ?!

Looks like I need to make another trip to Charleston. Glad you’re having fun playing with the toothy critters. When are we going to go after the reds again?

Looks like the northern tip of Botany Bay beach adjacent To Frampton. That would be my guess.
