Just came back last week and I am here to report that there are no more fish at Edisto. Well…maybe a few left. But for sure there are no blue crabs after my four boys (sons and nephews) caught them all. In all seriousness…what fun.
Smiley, you had good luck crabbing? We had a terrible week last year. The year before was unbelievable, but last year was just the opposite. I hope we have a good week coming up. Where did you go? We stay on jungle shores so we’re mainly crabbing off the dock.
I’ll be there, too. I get there on the 10th.

Jacob - A lot of folks were catching them at the moth of Big Bay creek. We stayed in a house on Pompano and caught quite a few (kind of small though) in the creek that runs behind the Baptist church. good luck!!
Fishing, crabbing, not having to go to the golf course with my brothers-in-law…I’m sensing paradise! Any advice on where to catch a dozen or so crabs while I’m there, from a boat.

Unfortunately, due to a death in my family, I had to cancel my trip. My wife’s dad passed away just days before we were to arrive. Now, unfortunately, we will have to wait until 2010 to enjoy Edisto…it’s a shame too, as it really is our favorite place in the world! If any of you ever get to Minnesota, drop me a line, you have a guide in the north country…Until next time…Guppy…
