when they are 24" - 6lbs, and 23" - 5 lbs, it makes it all worth while.

that said, we did catch 1 high end slottie red and 3 other keeper trout. everything we caught was on artificials. we were just out messing around and looking for new spotz. the 2 big trout were at a new spot. i’ll download the pics soon and if someone would post them for me i would appreciate it, and owe you a favor

Did you catch both trout in the same spot? The two largest trout I ever caught were about the same size as your two and I caught them back to back cast wading a small creek mouth.

i caught the first one, then the second the second 3 casts later.

we finally got the pics, but the big trout pic got lost in the transfer. i’ll send pics of the “small guy”
