Dont take my tone the wrong way, but why the hell dont we do 10 games each week? We are at eight this week, i know there are two more games we could find. Ten is a great number, makes percentages easy to calculate, just seems like a good round number each week. That is all.
You’re doomed for this season of the parlay!!..Just saying

No one wants to watch/follow garbage teams. What excitement is it for anyone to watch a 30+ point favorite whip up on William and Mary’s School for the Deaf and Blind? Not this guy.
-
I’ve always approached this as quality over quantity scenario. What other game would you have wanted to see here? Ohio state/Buffalo? Texas AM/Rice? USC/Hawaii?
. Personally I think it devalues the parlay when you add fluff games in there.

I make the rules.

With that said, if the group of players here collectively wants a different approach to picking games, I will certainly entertain that and do my best to make the parlay the most rewarding experience that it can possibly be.

Behind the scenes, there a lot of work and time that I, along with a few others who help without ever receiving any praise, volunteer that goes into setting this up, verifying scores, tracking prizes, coordinating prize delivery, settling disputes offline as to not out anyone as being a big baby… there’s a lot of work that you guys do not see. It’s not just as easy as throwing some games up once a week, although I’m sure that’s what a lot of people think.
I like #3.
No way you can win now D. Might as well watch synchronized swimming.

You forgot 6. I do it because I enjoy it.
#5 makes it sound like a burden you are carrying and I am very aware of the time it takes and I appreciate it. I handled one for about 8 years and 23 is correct, no one ever says “Thank You”, but that was OK. When I lived in Greenville, there was one we played every week that had 5 winners each week and 3 winners for the end of the year. It had over 1000 players weekly. Could you imagine the amount of time that took? They would have a big 3 ring binder with the results in order by Tuesday every week! Biggest private parley I have ever seen!
Just saying… but your rules are sound.
Thank you for doing this, you know we appreciate it!

Apparently, if it is not the SEC or Notre Dame, it is garbage?
-
I would like to have seen: TT vs. SMU, FSU vs PITT, BYU vs UVA, Penn State vs Syracuse, there are a few!

You do make the rules.
Just my rant for the day. Carry on!

Ricky sets the rules.
You agree to his rules when you play.
If you don’t like the rules, don’t play.
Honest to god, could it be any simpler?
I am going to log off now before I say something that would embarrass both of us…on second thought, it would only embarrass me…
You are not able to be embarrassed…
ACC apologist.
And you can’t post anything to this board or voice any opinion unless you run a PM through IM4USC first!
Ricky knows I am just busting his chops!

I am never amazed that university of Clemson train driver fans can not read and comprehend the simplest of rules.
It is what they do and when they are called on it, they respond with even more gibberish.
Rick,
If you did 100 a week, the percentages would be even easier to calculate, especially for university of Clemson train driver supporters.
It would be a much better parlay if DolphinD set the rules and you did all the work.
On second thought, maybe his rules would result in less than stellar participation…kinda like customer service at his store.
TT vs SMU was much better than I thought it would be.
This is all in good fun, and I know it takes 23 lots of time. Thank you Ricky

USC, go back under you rock!
Ricky, I think I am just mad that you didn’t include the FSU-Pitt game. Good matchup, only game on Labor Day, Prime time coverage, etc, etc, etc. (I think if FSU was an SEC team, it would have been on the list with out a doubt.)
Thanks again for doing this.

FSU is going to win by three touchdowns. That won’t be a game.
I forgot you were a FSU fan, I’ll include them from now on.
