As many of you know I have three young children. Summer time means boat time for my family and we are typically on the water at the very least at least one day a week. Every time we go out I make it a point to share at more and more information with them on how to drive, anchor, dock and maintain a boat. I try to let each of them drive at least a portion of the day and when another boat approaches they always tense up and get nervous and look to me on what to do. They are all under 10 years old so you would expect them to be tense up and need some guidance, funny thing is I see adults that don’t know what to do either.
