Have not posted anything lately been catching a few fish nothing worth talking about but this pass weekend (8-16-8-18) Got the Honey Dew list checked off got the trolling moter batteries where they were working so hook up the boat off to the Marina in the water 1 hr before low (11:30 AM) big tides muddy water First Drop nothing water dirty no action head up the creeks looking for clear water. Check out a dock that’s been a go place in the pass pick up a couple of small Trout then pick up a 26" red fish after circle the dock maybe 4 times have caught 4 over the slot Reds and several nice trout, Move on to Second Dock 1st cast hook up with nice red we when at for several min. until the hook pulled out never saw him. throw back in to the same general area hook up with a door mat Flounder (will eat good tonight) worked the area for another hr or so picking up nice Redfish. on Sunday checked out 1St drop that was so muddy on Sat again the water was Muddy but there was tremendous amount of activity caught several small reds and then threw into the muddy mess and hook up with a nice fish after a nice hook up got a 30" Red in the boat caught 3 more over the slot and then nothing time to move. when over to Otter Isl and caught some nice Reds 6 total 4 over the slot 2 in the slot and another doormat Flounder all in all a perfect Edisto weekend. All Fish released except for the Flounder which were released into baking dish which my wife has control of.
