Pipe Maker, 9/22/07, Billfish, Tuna and 'Hoo

tuna, sail, and hoo.
250’ to 350’, past sw banks, lost plenty of rigs due to hoo’s- 5 or 6, pulled the hook on a nice tuna, sail ate a wire rig and was released in good condition. No rain and flat ocean.

Is that the 32’ JB that Lee Falls is selling with Jarrettbay Yacht Sales 722-4546? I heard it raises fish.

It is an amazingly dry boat. Good weight aswell, so it’s a smooth ride. Definately a no frills fishing machine and in my opinion the best looking “small” sport fisher on the market.

You got that right that is a sweet looking boat. The jupiter is getting all new curtains for next season so i guess we will just have to ruff it for the rest of this one, but it rides great as well. We caught a blackfin almost identical to that one last weekend and an assortment of bottom dwellers. I love that bow flare on that jarret bay though.

That’s what makes it such a dry boat. Jupiters are beautiful rigs aswell! I’d hardly say your roughing it .

Whats up with the bandana thats for inshore? Just kidding. Nice sail and i almost forgot what a tuna looked like, thanks for reminding me.

Made tuna tacos last night. They were superb. I could handle catching only tuna, although it doesn’t seem to freeze aswell as the wahoo and dolphin.

It is a very nice boat but it can be wet those new curtains will help out alot.

A buddy of mine had a 27’ Contender that was the same way. When he put the curtains up it was plenty dry. They are definately worth it, especially on the narrower, faster boats.

Some one please inform this fella that we can no longer take fish out of the water for pictures and then release. I can’t believe he broke the law and then put it on the web for the world to see.

Congrats on the fish!!

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day. FISH 24/7------------ 25 Grady w/ a couple of Gas Guzzling 175 Johnsons “O-SEA-D” the old “Havanadaydream”

Knew it would surface at some point .

I see you still have your gold spoon just in case. Nice sail!

If a man wakes up early to go fishing he 's sleep deprived, If a man wakes up late to go fishing he’s fish deprived

True we had curtains but after a couple of years they have gone to sh**. Definatly looking forword to the new ones.

Sail was the day maker!

The bad part was loosing a big yozuri plug rigged with 24" of #130 wire- I wonder what that was, 2 islanders, a couple squiches, and a new ribazon. The daymaker was the weather guy calling for 3’ to 5’ and rain- it was flat and sunny.
