Pitt st pier and breachs inlet

Fished both breachs inlet and Pitt st pier for a few hours this morning.
not a nibble! Can’t wait for the water to warm up a bit.
Breachs inlet had tons of dolphins, kayaks were out there and dolphins were about 5 ft away. about 2 other guys on Pitt st pier, both were not pulling up anything!

sucks to hear, but thanks for the report. I’m going to try a few spots tomorrow…we’ll see. I’m with you, I’m so so ready to fish more and freeze less.

I’m going to hit up folly pier tomorrow! Ill keep you updated.

i took the kayak out in the surf on folly today, saw 1 fish jump when i was about 200-300 further than the pier. May try taking out some shark gear tomorrow if anyone is interested.

I will be breaking out my shark gear this weekend for some fishing on Folly. Let me know how you do. i have been (impatiently) waiting to get some Large sharks off the beach for months!! Got a new penn squall 60ld that i’ve been waiting to break out along with my Battle 8000/Battle 6000.

Where do you target sharks at Breach? In the back bay or just through the small pass?

I took out my 50w the other day, but the bait situation was meager. Im off next tuesday if anyone wants to give it a shot on folly. May have to resort to buying whiting from crosby or heading to N Charleston to the Chinese supermarket.
