Went to Pitt St. Saturday morning 7/25. Fished an outgoing tide from 7am to 10am.
Caught 2 small redfish, 1 small approx 13 inch flounder, a juvenile gag grouper and 2 old rusty crab nets. Lost something, probably either a red or ray that wrapped me around the pilings. All caught on Carolina rig with mud minnows.
The same nice couple from last week caught about the same mix but topped it off with 2 nice 19 inch reds back to back on finger mullet.
It wasn?t near as hot as last weekend and we had a decent easterly breeze blowing. Didn’t eat any fresh fish that night, but still fun to wet a line. Pictures included because its always nice to see fish while behind a desk!
