Got there today at dead low tide (9AM) mostly to fiddlefart around and have some fun with my son.
I got one good hit on a trout jig that wasn’t an obvious bait stealer, and caught a few token crabs in the hoops, and of course the obligatory toadfish and pinfish (luckily though, only one of each).
Saw the thunderstorms roll in, soak Charleston and northern Mt. P, but we didn’t get more than a drop or two of rain.
Windy as heck. When we left at 2pm, the wind was SCREAMING (20-30mph).
A beautiful day, we stayed dry with all the wind and the moderate temps. Had fun. Had to buy seafood on the way home at the Wando Shrimp Co, but nothing wrong with that.
