Got a conference to attend last weekend after Thanksgiving
We have not been to HHI in several years and looking for couple good places to eat
thanks for any tips

My all-time favorite is Hudsons (good food, great view, good service). Other favorites are: Roastfish and Cornbread (weird name, good food), Redfish, and Charlie’s L’Etoile Verte.

there’s a fantastic dive by the sea pines called “one hot mama’s”. within 20 steps of the door is a brewery and “the lodge” with some ridiculous number of beers on tap. that’s were i normally end up at.
It depends on what you’re in to.

These are all opinion, obviously. I second the notion for One Hot Mama’s and surrounding bars for a traveler looking for a good time!

Palmetto Bay Sunrise Cafe for breakfast…great food! Black marlin next door is “fair to middlin”…can be good depending on entree. Both are dockside at Palmetto Bay Marina, 86 Helmsman Way, HHI.
I third the Sea Shack. You might also like Pepper’s Porch, 1255 May River Road, Bluffton…very relaxed!
