What are they gonna do? Bring 30 head of walkers inside for Sunday diner? Nope their gonna be running those modified Billy goats that you think you own. Funny how you never hear of a dogger trying to outlaw still hunting. But keep blowing hot air and the boys will keep dropping tailgates.

Ha, I knew it, you are a dogger. I know it’s hard for you and your dogger buddies, but try to keep up. The…deer…have…nothing…to…do…with…it. I don’t own the deer, you don’t own the deer…we all own the deer, they’re a public resource. But you know what I do own? My land. And I don’t want your mutts on it.
If it were just me saying these things, it might just be hot air. But that’s not what’s happening. A lot of folks who actually own land and improve it (and don’t just go in with 50 other rednecks to lease a timber company tract) are fed up. So much so that you’re starting to see real laws in the works that will end doghunting. Don’t believe me? Just sit back and watch.

I’d be good with that, as long as it was enforced.
Wrong. I haven’t ran dogs after deer in many years. Matter of fact if I have a dog jump a deer they get the quick 6 on the tritronic. However I am sick of seeing good Americans lose there rights and traditions. Especially to some little punk who’s biggest aspiration is to have his picture up at the local skinning shed. Get off your self rightness throne and quit acting your bill freaking Jordan. It’s a deer. Woo hoo. My wife killed two last year in the car. As hunters we have enough enemies. No need in being the prick that is to blind to see it.
And what the hell is up with all this having be be a redneck to hunt dogs crap? It really proves your ignorance.

Again, the point escapes you. I could care less about killing “trophy” deer. I get more enjoyment out of managing my land for them and other game than shooting them. I do like taking friends and family to hunt my land. I really don’t like it when Bobby Joe’s hounds come rambling through. Do you really not get the main point here? The fact that a bunch of uninvited mutts are roaming my property?
Not every dogger is a redneck, but the ones that don’t own property and run their hounds in timber company clubs typically are. The few (and I mean few) doggers who still do it right 100% of the time are partly to blame too, b/c they have not come down like a hammer on the rednecks. Perhaps some of the folks who run dogs the right way and actually have some political clout (think Middleton) might be able to get some kind of carveout to keep doing it on a limited basis. But mark my words, the days of the dogger are numbered.

Think they need a law you cant bait if you don’t have 500 acres. How about these hunters getting 10 acres in the 3000 acres you lease. Calling it there Honey Hole. They are ruining my hunting by cutting me off.

Just another dogger who hasn’t a clue. You and the other dogger who’s posted on this thread haven’t even made an attempt to address the real issue at hand, which is your worthless mutts invading other people’s property. Your inability to grasp this simple point would be funny if it weren’t so darn sad. Better find something to do with all those walkers that aren’t going to be allowed to hunt in the next year or so. Unlike your other dogger buddy on this thread who implied all you folks would just shoot your dogs, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and at least assume you will try to sell them.

Ha man I really could care less. There will always be pricks in the world that think they are owed it. I could care less if every deer got blue tongue and the coyotes eat the rest. Cry whine do what you got to do Cuzz. You’re just another face book fabulous deer hunter.

That is the tactic, Warbler. They can’t beat you with facts, so the try to smear with crap. No trespassing really does mean exactly that!

(1) Will there still be doe days? I would think not, but just curious
(2) How will DNR enforce this? Will check stations be put in place? Sounds expensive if so?
I will note ? when I dropped off a deer at Grooms this past year, the young man cleaning it cut and pulled the hide from under the doe tag so that the tag remained on the animal (wonder if DNR will check walk-in freezers)
DNR will often set up at processors and check for untagged does. Go see the Summary Court Judge in Greenville County and tell him I told you to ask him to tell you about it. He used to be a DNR Officer. He and others would set up at the processors in Greenville, Laurens, Greenwood, Abbeville, and Anderson Counties a couple of times in each county every season.

I know the answer to this one! You must only hunt with your city friends! funny you take the name poke salad. That is a deep southern thing.

Freedomfisher, I guess Warbler and polk just think by using the “redneck” term they think they are making a stronger statement. I know the meaning has changed a bit, but I still am proud to be a redneck in it’s original meaning. Call me whitetrash and you may offend me.
Bottom line to all this is Dog hunting has it’s unethical hunters, just as still hunter do. I’ve got a neighbor that let’s his brother hunt his property, he set up on a witness tree in the corner of my property. Actually shot a deer on my side of the line. We talked about it and he moved his stand in another 20 yards, all good. He calls me when he comes to hunt and I let him park on my land. I don’t ride the horse or 4 wheeler when he hunts to disturb him.
Hunters don’t need to fight each other rednecks and city folk need to get along. Deer hunting is like catching a spot tail/red fish, it’s almost too easy.
Well if they start putting 2000 dollar Swarovski scopes on there shotguns and shoot heavy shot buckshot will you still classify them as rednecks. Or is it just not civilized enough to hunt with dogs? And you say it’s not about the deer. Pssh… It’s always about the deer with your type you can lie all you want. Your afraid you might hear a howl way off in the distance and your grunt call might not work efficiency. O no bullwinkie is gonna leave my property with all that shooting going on a mile away. Get real. If your having dogs running through your property on a regular basis then yes you have a problem. But unless you’ve bought property in the middle of dog country I doubt you do. People just love to blame their lack of productivity on some other poor soul. I’ve been around doggers my whole life and it seems the still hunter is usually the prick. You move in on something that has been going on years before you watched your first real tree outdoors show. You forget or are to young to know. But still hunting hasn’t been around that long. Hell deer haven’t been around that long. That’s the real problem, people like YOU. Your way is not always the best way.
