No doubt, this really is just not a good team. That not with standing, the coaching has been horrible this year. Is Spurrier getting senile, getting cute or what. You are gashing a defense running the ball and then start passing? I just don’t get it. If an idiot like me can see this stuff why can’t highly paid coaches? Looks like we are going to have to dust off our “Wait til next year” bumper stickers cuz this year is done.
Oh well, the last few years have been good but, the reality is that it can sometimes be tough being a Gamecock.
“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”.
He needs to realize a couple of things. Thompson is not Connor Shaw. You cannot throw the end of the game entirely on his shoulders. The offensive line is pretty good at run blocking, but are not good pass blockers. Both of the tackles routinely get beat around the edge. Coming out and throwing very first play after the game was tied with almost three minutes and three time outs? It is almost as if he is obsessed with passing the ball instead of winning games. The defense if just plain terrible. Auburn and Clemson will light them up like a Christmas tree.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

1st. I know you are trying to be funny, but as a son who is watching his dad suffers with dementia, it is not funny to me.
2nd. I think it time for USC to have OC with that being his only job. Spurrier has cost the team the last 2 games.

The game passed Bobby Bowden by too and FSU’s program began to suffer. It went downhill fast because no one wanted for try and force his hand to retire.
Whammy is no EJ, the defense is awful. DT gets that panicked look in his eyes too much and he has yet to face a serious pass rush. I still don’t know why UGA didn’t pressure him, they had the ability to do it.
Mike Davis is a beast and wants to tote the load. yet when it is his time they FUBAR the playbook and take him out of it. Backs don’t like that, they tend to remember things like that as losses mount.
Sakkerliner has lost 3 to date. Auburn is going to be a beatdown of epic proportions. Clemson is going to be bad as well. Furman and SA Jags should be easy wins but to be honest, UF and UT are toss ups. Best bet, 7-5 but possibly 5-7. I honestly think they beat UF but lose to a desperate UT team.

There are too many kids in the coot program who are used to winning for this slump to last as long as they used to in the past.
I am still trying to figure out who the backup QB is tho. Once Scurrier gets all that QB flip flopping out of his system, and the D coordinator realizes that he’s gotta pick it up if he wants to land in a good spot after Scurrier fires him, they normally settle off and give Clemson a good game.
I also think they’ll give Auburn a game, too. All it takes is a mindset to go in and be very physical with that team and get them off their tempo. Same way to beat our style offense…

a 2 game losing streak was commonplace for years at Carolina, just ask 23, he will tell you. Surprised that Tater fans are getting so excited about them now. Carolina must have really gotten in to their heads the past 5 years. Losing that many in a row to such a ****ty program has to sting badly.

You actually came close to nailing this one, although I am not as excited as some of my fellow taters. Both programs are aided more by both being successful vs only one or neither. I think taters are most excited about the fair weather Clemson haters being squelched a little more at this point than in the previous 5 seasons…

Apologies for bad choice of words,I would never…well nevermind,I screwed up…no excuses.
No worries cape.
I still don’t know why everyone is so down on DT. He did enough to win every game. Between the defense sucking and the coaching sucking, I dont think any QB could win.

Like I have always said, you win as a team, you lose as a team… you can’t blame one person for a loss, not even Ole’ Ballsac…
A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.
It appeared to me like your linebackers were out of position for most of the game. Reminded me of Clemson’s linebackers before Venables.
Scurrier’s comment about Miles and Davis had some good runs but could have done better was classic Scurrier. Shouldn’t surprise anyone that he went there.
If DT’s backup was ready to play in Scurrier’s mind, Scurrier would have made similar comments about DT…

I am a Clemson fan but pull for Carolina when not playing one another. Both teams have suffered losses that they had a great chance of winning. I love winning but when out played I am ok with that. When either team looses for stupid mistakes or coaching it kills me. There are really no hopes of ACC or SEC championship. All we can hope for is that both teams get it together and we have a great State championship with both teams at their best. Hopefully it will not come down to stupid mistakes or coaching. I always want Clemson to win but if both teams go out there and play there best and it does not come down to coaching or mistakes.
