Pre made leaders?

Ok guys I’m totally new to shark fishing and the salt scene so I apologize if this has already been asked. I live in the Clemson area and have a tripped planned for some sharkin on the beach during the summer. My question is should I use a pre made leader or make my own. I’ve found several places selling pre made leaders with specs as follows…

3 pack! 3ft of 400lb (2.0mm) any color mono fishing leader material (not weedeater crap) with skull beads and 1/0 coastlock fishfinder. one end has a rosco 4/0 swivel connected to the end section via 4/0 swivel of 2ft of 480lb black, sand/tan, or clear vinyl coated (to reduce electrical signature) 7x7 stainless steel aircraft cable. this is very flexible bite off protection. finished with a *any size hook. 5 ft total length. 3 x 5 vinyl logo sticker free! (if in stock, no guarantee on free sticker)

crimps are double barrel copper on the s.s. and aluminum on the mono. all crimps are MADE THE CORRECT WAY with a professional swager MADE FOR THE FISHING INDUSTRY. mono section has fishfinder slider

Also how would you deploy this kind of rig, cast or yak it out. I’m using a spinning set up if that helps too. Thanks for the help dudes!:sunglasses:

It depends on how much you go and how many rigs you are going to use.
It’s cheaper in long run to do your own but, if you only go a few times a quality pre made is fine. At 5’ I would be sure to connect to a bimini twist or heavy single shock leader. You want your total leader to be a couple feet long than the biggest fish you might catch.
Keeps you from getting tail whipped and chaffed off.

Something that may help you out is Texassharkfishing.com. It’s a pretty good site with allot info from rigs, to organization, bait etc. Also check out Blacktip h videos as well. You need to establish whether you are yaking or casting bait because the rigs are different. Welcome to the sight, dude:sunglasses:
