Thanks for the great turnout last night and I cannot remember laughing as hard seeing those pics.
The Put-up or Shut-up tourney will be Sat. Aug 5th from sunrise until 3pm. with the weigh-in site to be determined.
Rules are as follows.
- No cheating.
- No fighting
- No drinking [just kidding]
- Inshore of the Charleston jetties.
- Rod and reel, spear, castnet, gig, and grapling are the approved
methods for catching said fish. - Stomping on said fish to increase its length will not be allowed.
Since it has been determined that no on this site can come up with correct weights of said fish, money will be awarded for the following.
Longest Trout
Longest flounder
Longest red[in the slot]
Redneck slam…Largest salt catfish,toadfish,and stingray.
The redneck slam must be recorded on a dig camera and shown to the judges at the weigh-in. Style points will be rewarded for creativity.
Cost per boat or land fisherperson will be $35.00 with a 100% payout @ 25% for each award.
SC DNR rules will also apply[had to put in that disclaimer]
We would like to do shirts which will be an additional fee to be determined.
Anyone in the shirt biz?

I cant wait till the fushin tourny… I think i need to get into my other fishing gear…hmmmmmmmmm FINS… get it strech. Im at the next meeting if not in person ill have strech bring a cardboard cutout and yall can just throw captian morgans and cokes at it all night. and i dont like that it will not be legal to stomp a fish to make it longer… i cant win now but i will contribute. see ya on the water
