Question about Hiliton Head Area

I will be in Sea Pines on vacation next week. Sense we have a house I decided to drag the boat down. Its a 16’ carolina skiff. My question is where is a good place to put in and go to catch red fish or trout. Thanks for any information you can provide

You might want to check with sea pines and see if they will let you bring your boat in the gate. If you can’t park it in a garage and close the door you have to park it outside the plantation.there are several short term options. When you come on the island take the cross island toll road, after the toll booths there is a bridge, right under that is a great landing. Good fishing up and down that creek. Good luck

Boat landing at Palmetto Bay is closest. Redfish- trout in Broad Creek may not be best location. If you use Pickney Island Landing, right before you come onto island, near much better fishing in my opinion. Fish around Pickney Island on McKay Creek side all the way out to Port Royal Sound. Cross over to Dawes Island there are many good spots

You need to call rental agent about where to put boat while in Sea Pines. They are very strict. You can call me if you run into a problem and I should be able to find a place to store same when you are not using it. (843-384-7321) Good luck.

Palmetto Bay has a ramp right under the cross island express bridge that would be close to Sea Pines. Plenty of good fishing in Broad Creek.
