Fished last 2 hrs of a falling tide and had action all day. Dolphin were at every opening and still had a great day fishing.! There were 2 bull reds tailing around an oyster bed and just kept me there hoping. Also was stopped by a cop the night before and told to turn around from lighthouse inlet . Not allowed to be on the beach after 8 any more!!!
Are they sitting at the end of the road and turning people back? Is it posted anywhere? I was planning to hit that spot after dark at least once this week…what happens if I make the beach and come back to find a cop next to my car? Do I get a ticket ? Anyone else hearing this or has run ins?
They’ve had that curfew for a while now and have signs posted. From what I understand it is strictly enforced if your not back at your vehicle by the time you’re supposed to the cops come and get you and make you leave.
Yeah, I drove down there yesterday and saw the sign…that access to the right dumps out on the beach. Are they saying you can’t walk up the beach either?
The cop said you can be anywhere on the beach except the ends after 8 and the pier after 11
