Has anyone heard information on this? I was told from a local yesterday that the pier is going to have a major overhaul soon, as in the next year or two. New rails, new planking.
What’s the scoop on this and how long is the pier going to be down?

The pier ius slated to be replaced. Is not out for bid yet, but is supposed to be soon.

I read this the other day. It looks like they’re completely rebuilding it.

Hey 23. Pier down 18-24 months. New pier will have concrete pilings. Wood or hardyplank 9n top. Pier will have the same footprint as present. Conflicting answers on when this starts. This fall or next fall.
