Friend coming down for the weekend. Any recommendations on where to eat, looking for some fried seafood and such.

Grovers, Whaley’s, and Dockside.

All of the above have some good eats. Some are open for b-fast & lunch and some open like after 4:30 for dinner. My fav is Seacow for b-fast, McConkey’s for lunch, and Waterfront or Grover’s for dinner.

Post Office is really good too.

All listed are good. If you want some good bbq, go see my friends at Bo-B-Q. He’s a few miles back from the beach, but it’s worth the drive. He also has shrimp baskets, etc.

Post Office and if you are willing to drive 20 minutes, The Firehouse in Hollywood is outstanding!

You gotta love the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Piggly Wiggly for breakfast. They also got some good fried chicken for lunch.
